When can I move in?

If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime during office hours.

How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

Notices are due 15 days before intended move out date. Contact your facility for move out instructions.

What is the move out procedure?

When you are done with the unit, it needs to be swept clean and the lock needs to be removed from the latch. Please come in to the office to complete our vacate form to finalize your move out.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No, we rent on a month-to-month basis with no long term commitment.

Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?

It varies by location. Some facilities will provide an access code when you sign the lease and others require a tenant to provide a photo ID in the rental office prior to obtaining an access code. Please contact the facility in question for specific information.

How do I make a payment?

Payment options may vary per site, please contact your local facility for more information.

Do you have autopay?

Yes, we do have autopay and we recommend using it in order to minimize the chances of having late fees and losing gate access.

How do I set-up my online account?

Go to www.aspselfstorage.com and click on the "Pay Online" button in the upper right-hand corner. Find your facility and select "Pay Bill." Underneath the log-in area, select "create account."

Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?

Yes. We sell various moving supplies in our office.

How do I know how much storage space I will need?

You can either use our Size Guide tool on our website or call our office to speak with a storage professional for advice. If you have the ability to come to the office during office hours, this is the best way to ensure that you’re renting the correct size unit.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, batteries, firearms/ammunition, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, gardening soil, fertilizer, birdseed/animal feed, perishables and food items. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?

Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts to move in.

Can I park multiple vehicles in a single parking spot?

We only allow one vehicle to be parked per parking spot.

Do I need to provide paperwork to park a vehicle in a parking spot?

We require current proof of insurance and registration.
