Google led me to this wonderful little storage facility, so I was a bit skeptical, but am pleasantly surprised enough to leave a review. I have only ever utilized one other storage facility, it was horrible, and the differences thus far are night and day. I definitely like the "mom and pop" feel to this place, but it also is technologically up to date, definitely the best of both. I was able to set up my reservation for my unit online in about 5 minutes, then I was able to run in and have the whole process explained and completed in under 20 mins on move-in day. I love the convenience of being able to drive right up to my unit, very minimal walking, so if you're disabled or have a lot to carry or they're heavy items, this is a huge plus! I also like that the manager/owner lives on site. You get to know the person watching over your belongings and know that someone is always there. I like that they are tucked away from obvious foot traffic, so there is less likelihood of anyone trying to break in. They also appear to have good security and surveillance. The doors and sliding latches are also easy to use as well. My other unit was so stiff and hard to open. This one is easy and the door is lite. Again another benefit if you are disabled.
The move-in special offered was legit too, no hidden fees or bait and switch with these guys. I literally paid $21 for my unit and even got a free lock, which helped out as well. You can also pay online and set up recurring payments so you don't get busy and forget to pay. They also have a referral program once you become a renter. Their monthly prices are good as well, definitely cheaper than other places in the area. Only potential drawback is it is not indoors or climate controlled, but it seems well insulated and maintained.
It's also really centrally located to Denver, Parker and Aurora and has access from 2 major roads and is within 15 mins(even in traffic) from 225 and 25.
They also have a free moving truck if needed. Luckily I managed to cram everything I had into my little suv and just make a few trips. There is a deposit for it and you do have to cover gas and there is a small $15 fee for the whole thing, but that is way cheaper than a rental truck.
It's rare when I write good reviews, its usually after some place has really messed up, but I give credit where it's due, and this place is great! They also did not solicit or offer me anything in return for this review. I mainly wanted to write this after the horrible previous experience I had with another company, cause if you have experienced the big chain storage places, you owe it to yourself to be treated like a human and not a dollar sign and come here. They made this whole experience easy and efficient during a really difficult time in my life. Literally pass up the other guys and come here, One guy in the office when I was moving in said he had been there for 8 years. I'd say that kind of word of mouth and that long of a time with a storage facility when there are so many to choose from speaks for itself.
